Can’t wait to attend Friday’s Downtown Indy, Inc. Circle of Lights presented by IBEW #481?! Here are a few tips so you know before you go.
How should attendees enter Monument Circle?
The event stage will be located on North Meridian Street, adjacent to Christ Church Cathedral. Please do not try to enter the event from the North Meridian Street spoke, as it will be closed. Attendees may enter Monument Circle from Market Street or South Meridian Street. Event-goers may stand anywhere around the Circle that is not barricaded for security aisles.

Port-o-lets are available in all quadrants: NorthWest and NorthEast are located along the Circle. SouthWest and SouthEast are located on Court Street (alley behind Qdoba and Windsor Jewelers).
Are there accommodations for people with special needs?
Yes! Simply go to the east side of the Circle, north of Market Street and let the security personnel know you are a person with special needs and they will allow you and ONE FAMILY MEMBER to access the “Pit Access” area near the stage. Please know, only the guest with special needs is guaranteed a chair. Our other guests in this area are expected to stand and be part of the overall area.
How can I get closer to see everything?
Everyone wants to be as close to the excitement as possible! Please know that some of our guests stand all day to be front row. We promise that once you hear the countdown, there is not a bad spot in the house for the lights and the fireworks. There are three LED screens located on the west (Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop Viewing Plaza) and east (Central Indiana Chevy Dealers Viewing Plaza) side of the Circle, as well as on South Meridian Street (Lights at the Brickyard Viewing Plaza).
