Downtown Indy has named Erika Hinshaw as its new planning and data manager. Hinshaw is responsible for gathering and providing relevant economic and market data and research on issues impacting the quality of life and business environment in Downtown Indianapolis.
Hinshaw previously worked for the Marion County Assessor’s Office as the mapping manager since 2012. She was a planner with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization from 2009 – 2012.
She is an Indiana University graduate and has a master of community planning from the University of Cincinnati. Hinshaw lives in Irvington, Indianapolis with her son.
Valerie Grudzien is Downtown Indy’s new events manager. She manages and executes events on Georgia Street and the Canal Walk including Downtown Indy hosted events as well as third-party rentals.
Grudzien worked for Sport Graphics as a project manager since 2014. She was the senior program & events manager for the 500 Festival from 2010 – 2014.
She is a Butler University graduate and lives in Fishers with her husband.
