End of summer openings Downtown: August 2023

Lifestyle brand pop-up, three new Circle Centre businesses, chef-designed salad spot, and more have chosen Downtown Indy as a new home this month

Downtown Indianapolis continues to see exciting momentum with multiple business openings catering to foodies and shoppers alike. Both the Stutz building and Circle Centre Mall welcomed new fashion retailers in August, with the former operating in partnership with the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development’s (Indy DMD) St’Artup317 program. Downtown residents can also find a new salad restaurant in Salesforce Tower, a candy store in Circle Centre, and a new location for Indiana Members Credit Union’s Downtown branch. Read on for a comprehensive list of what opened this past month in Downtown Indy.

Indiana Members Credit Union, 50 N Pennsylvania St

Previously located at 136 N Delaware St, Indiana Members Credit Union shifted its Downtown location this month to a Monument Circle adjacent storefront with 2,725-square-footage. The credit union’s new branch, which previously operated as Dick’s Bodacious Bar-B-Q until September 2020, is positioned “…with higher visibility and more foot traffic,” according to CEO John Newett.
