Monster MASKarade

Even though Halloween may look a little different this year that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the all fun.

The Children’s Museum Guild will be holding a Monster MASKarade outside at the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience®. The event will be held every Friday in October from 6-8 p.m. and every Saturday from 8-10 a.m. Tickets are $23 for members or $25 for non-members

Get ready for a fun battle between family and friends in Broom Ball. All ages welcome. Or show off your dancing skills at Mummies in Motion. You’ll also want to come in your best Halloween costume to enter the costume contest. Finish off the night by watching the Monster MASKarade Parade. 

INDYCAR Harvest GP

Didn’t get your fill of INDYCAR racing this season? The INDYCAR Harvest GP will be coming to Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Oct. 2 and 3. Single day passes are available starting as low as $20 for the day. 

Additionally, catch the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli and GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS Sunday, Oct. 4. This event is the first pairing of two major sports car series. There are several well-known drivers among the day’s lineup.

Don’t miss your chance to take part in one of the few live sporting events at IMS in 2020.

ZooBoo

Looking for a fun Halloween activity for all ages? Well the Indianapolis Zoo has got you covered.  Every Wednesday through Sunday in October starting at 2 p.m., the zoo will once again be hosting their annual ZooBoo experience.

Festivities include trick or treating, mazes, a Merry-Go- Round and train rides full of sights at the Zoo you can’t see from anywhere else. Head to Pumpkin Town for science experiment demonstrations for the little ones. Adults can check out the special Trick or Treating trail on Friday and Saturday nights from 5 - 8 p.m. ZooBoo is included with regular Zoo admission.

The Links at Victory Field

Now is your chance to play golf on a baseball field. Play a round of golf at Victory Field at various locations on the main concourse and the upper deck Oct. 15, 16 and 17. Get a 9-hole 27-shot experience for $39 or $140 for a group of four.

Aside from golfing, see the new Elements Financial Clubhouse and choose from several food and beverage options. Test your short-iron and putter accuracy in the PNC Plaza where representatives from Mizuno, Golf Club of Indiana and the Golf Pro-Formance Academy will give tips on your putting and hitting game.

Arts Market on the Circle

From pottery to jewelry to henna tattoos, this free market has a little something for everyone. Oct. 15 marks the final Market from 4 – 7 p.m., bringing 20 local artists to Monument Circle selling their wares, art and unique creations.  This month check out a new Beer and Wine Garden.  Come support our local artists #BackDowntownIndy.
