Pour yourself a Barrel-Aged Hunter Coffee and tune in to this week’s episode with Drew Fox. The leading brewer in Indiana grew up on the North West side of Chicago and began his career in hospitality and finance. During this time, he developed a love for beer, which influenced him to spend a few life-changing weeks in Belgium to drink the best beer in the world. After experiencing the possible flavor opportunities for beer, he wanted to truly learn how to make it. So, he reached out to Pipeworks.

“I was driving through the neighborhood [10th and Rural] and it reminded me so much of Gary. But, on a progressive level. It was me and my wife and we walked in. I told her ‘We aren’t buying any more buildings.’ We were looking around… I didn’t have to say anything, she said ‘We are signing the lease today.’” – Drew Fox, 18th Street Brewery

After grasping the brewing process, Drew launched this awesome video and opened 18th Street Brewery around 2013. Now, he and his team have won many awards and are recognized for producing some of the best beer in the nation. Not to mention they just opened 18th Street Distillery and will be opening a location in Indianapolis on E. 10th St.
