Downtown Indianapolis is the place to be when the clock strikes 12 this New Year’s Eve! From numerous parties to family-friendly events to delicious dinners, ring in 2019 in style.

1. New Year’s Eve Party with the Doo!

Enjoy New Year’s Eve with a hors d’oeuvre buffet, party favors and a midnight champagne toast at The Rathskeller. Doors open at 6 p.m., opening acts perform from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and The Doo! performs from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.

2. The Indy Masquerade

Celebrate the New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball with three parties for the price of one ticket taking place in three ballrooms within Union Station. Admission includes two drink tickets, hors d’oeuvres and all the fun. Live bands, casino games for charity, a 1920s bar with signature cocktails and more will take place in the Grand Hall. The SpeakEasy Lounge will feature stand-up comedians, dueling pianos and magicians. The city’s most innovative DJs will compete in a DJ competition in the Illinois Street Ballroom. The party takes place from 8:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

3. New Year’s Eve: A Night at Studio 54

Indy’s newest & biggest New Year’s Eve Party is back. A Night at Studio 54 at the Pavilion will be a one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve experience at the Pavilion at Pan Am. This year, enjoy music playing top 40, dance, old school, house and soul featuring Hugh Jeffner, DJ Slater Hogan and DJ Amp. Admission includes an open premium bar, appetizers, desserts, photo booth, midnight champagne toast and more.

4. New Year’s Eve at Howl at the Moon

Howl at the Moon offers various different packages to ring in 2018 ranging from $80 – $140 to help customize your New Year’s experience. Several packages include a catered dinner buffet and a premium open bar. Limited general admission tickets may be available at the door.

5. New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball

Kiss 2018 goodbye and say hello to 2019 in style! Come out and celebrate the New Year with Tin Roof’s Masquerade Ball from 7 p.m. – 3 a.m. Advance entry and table reservations are available for purchase. All entries will receive a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors and a mask.

6. ’90s New Year’s Eve Party

Come out and party like it’s 1999! Enjoy a ‘90s playlist, free photo-booth and themed specialty punch from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. Themed outfits are not required but highly recommended.

7. New Year’s Eve with ComedySportz

Welcome in the New Year with the most unique comedy show around! There are two celebrations – the first from 7:30 – 9 p.m. and the second from 10:30 p.m. – midnight (ending with a countdown to midnight) – and two live improvisation matches, where ComedySportz players battle each other for a prize.

8. New Year’s Eve Date Night

Share an evening with that special someone while enjoying fresh, local food prepared by Chef JJ’s culinary team. Tickets include beer or wine tasters, a five-course dinner and a sweet treat to take home. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. and concluding around 8:30 p.m.

9. New Year’s Eve presented by CCA

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Marvel at the glittering ballroom as you visit one of several premium open bars, enjoy gourmet appetizers and take advantage of all of the entertainment. The event will feature casino and glow games, henna tattoos and a pop-up arcade. Cool Hand Lex with percussionist Joe Meltdown will keep the party going from 9 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

10. Paw Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure

Watch as the hit Nickelodeon television show comes to life on stage at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre. With shows Dec. 28 -30, there are plenty of opportunities to see the show and celebrate this festive weekend.

11. Countdown to Noon

Experience all the fun of New Year’s Eve at a reasonable hour Dec. 31. Celebrate the final day of 2018 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with activities, music from Grammy-nominated musician Zak Morgan and countdowns to 2019 at noon and 1 p.m. Enjoy hats and other festive favors for the big moment while supplies last.

12. Family New Year’s Eve

The clocks are pushed forward and the New Year is celebrated early Dec. 31 to allow children of all ages to enjoy the festivities. End the year with a family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration in the Governor Frank O’Bannon Great Hall. Enjoy dancing, face painting and music from 6 – 9 p.m. with the balloon drop at 8 p.m. Reservations for the event are recommended.
